On Monday, severe storm damage paralyzed the country's transport system, and restoration on the main lines of MÁV may take days. According to János Lázár, at least 1,500 trains and 800,000 passengers were affected by the storm, but fortunately there were no injuries. Volánbusz is helping to replace the lost train services with several hundred vehicles.
