A man passing by noticed a human body under the surface of the Otava River near Strakonice Castle early Sunday morning. He immediately began calling for help. Coincidentally, two police officers were passing by, heard the call that someone was drowning in the river, and ran down to the river. They pulled a lifeless young woman out of it and began resuscitation. Fortunately, this was successful.
