A 57-year-old man from Vorarlberg climbed the Drachenwand in Upper Austria without climbing equipment on Saturday after drinking heavily. According to police, the man was moving so unsteadily that another climber, fearing an accident, called the mountain rescue service and accompanied him to the nearest forest road. The rescue service took over the man and brought him safely down to the valley, from where he was transported by ambulance.
