- NDLEA operatives at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos recently intercepted a UK-bound consignment containing 32.20kg of Colorado, with follow-up operations leading to the arrest of designated recipient Nurudeen Abiodun Kadiri, 44, found with 12.25kg.
- Nationwide operations across seven states netted massive quantities of illicit substances, including 157,100 capsules of tramadol in Plateau State and 669.425kg of pregabalin in Kano, demonstrating enforcement intensity.
- Traffickers concealed contraband within music speakers and loaves of bread, prompting arrests of suspects including real estate agent Abideen Jide Salami during follow-up investigations linked to intercepted shipments.
- NDLEA Chairman Mohamed Buba Marwa directed officers to sustain pressure on trafficking routes, while commands simultaneously continued War Against Drug Abuse sensitisation programs in schools and communities.
