- The support package, now totaling $29.4 million, includes On-Farm Drought Infrastructure Grants accessed by over 1500 primary producers and community-based wellbeing programs.
- Minister Ros Spence highlighted that assistance has been provided to in excess of 1500 farmers so far and reaffirmed the commitment to ongoing financial, technical, and wellbeing support for those affected by drought.
- The government will continue monitoring conditions to ensure targeted support reaches drought-affected farmers, reinforcing resilience and mental health across rural communities.
