Droitwich swimmer Matthew Redfern takes bronze at Glasgow 2026

DROITWICH's Matthew Redfern has won a bronze medal in the pool at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Redfern finished third in the 100m S13 freestyle after notching up a time of 56.58secs. The race was won by Nathan Hendriks from South Africa. He took gold in 54.54secs. Scotland's Stephen Clegg took the silver, completing 55.16secs. Matthew won bronze four years age at Birmingham 2022 and went on to swim in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. …
