The Department of Justice will hold charges this Tuesday against 67-year-old Modesto Pérez Cortés, the driver who would have caused the heavy accident in which two sisters died – one of them pregnant – in Añasco in November 2024. From the investigation it appears that the vehicle in which Eunice and Esther García Vázquez were travelling, aged 19 and 23, was hit head-on by a guagua driven by Pérez Cortés, who threw 14% in the alcohol test.
