The Talbot County Sheriff’s Office has indicted an 18-year-old on multiple charges including vehicular manslaughter and DUI following a June crash that took the life of an Easton teen.

EASTON, Md. – An 18-year-old from Easton turned himself in after police say he was involved in a fatal crash. The collision happened on June 17th, 2025, on Island Creek Road near the intersection of Chloras Point Road. Ellis Mitcham Newcomb was identified as one of the drivers involved.
