The driver was able to escape a dangerous situation on a roadway in Quinte West on Sunday. At 2.45 pm, Quinte West Firefighters were dispatched to a crash on Hamilton Rd. A small Honda struck a pole, rolled onto its side and burst into flames. The driver self-extricated just before the fire began. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
