Driver dies after crash in NC, passenger flown to Norfolk General for treatment

NCSHP responded to a single-vehicle crash on NC-37 near Cotton Gin Road in Gates County Tuesday morning. The vehicle was traveling north when it went off the road.

A young man died in a crash with another driver in Sun Valley on Tuesday night. The accident occurred on 6700 block of Lankershim Boulevard, shortly before 7 p.m. According to authorities, the victim was driving in a sports car northwards along Lankershim Boulevard when she crashed into a truck driving south along the same avenue.
