Driver charged with driving under the influence in New Hartford crash

Police said Scott Lahart, of Oriskany, was operating on the eastbound off-ramp from Route 840 to Commercial Drive at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday, June 18 when his minivan rear-ended a Toyota Tacoma that was stopped at a traffic light. Police said Lahart was ruled to be driving under the influence of drugs.
