Driver Arrested After Vehicle Allegedly Hits Mailbox in Hacienda Heights

A motorist was arrested for allegedly striking a mailbox with his vehicle Sunday morning in Hacienda Heights, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 7:25 a.m. Sunday at a home in the 1200 block of Farmstead Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol. A black Toyota Camry struck the mailbox, the CHP said.
