Border guards, with the assistance of police officers, detained 35 illegal migrants who had entered Lithuania in the Varėna district on Thursday evening, most of whom were returned to Belarus on Friday.
On Thursday evening, a group of as many as 35 illegal migrants tried to enter Lithuania from Belarus near Varėna district.
