Drama drops Jason Bateman, David Harbour in middle of trouble in 'DTF St. Louis'
The drama series explores middle-aged desperation through interconnected characters navigating emotional and spiritual crises in contemporary America.
At a Feb. 24 premiere, Jason Bateman and David Harbour starred in DTF St. Louis, which took place at the DGA Theater Complex.
Steven Conrad told People he was inspired by his own experiences and the show's plot involving three adults experiencing middle-age malaise in a love triangle that leaves one dead.
Harbour's role as Floyd and Cardellini's Carol form the story's intimate triangle, with Floyd found dead at a community pool and the arrest of Clark Forrest escalating the plot.
The seven-episode season will air Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and stream on HBO Max, with the finale on Sunday, April 6.
David Harbour repeatedly dug into new scripts, showing strong cast engagement, while the show uses DTF, an in-show dating app, to thrust Jason Bateman and Harbour into escalating trouble.
