Double first for the new Superior Court judge

It's a double first: just after celebrating his 35th birthday, Montreal lawyer Alexandre Bien-Aimé Bastien became the youngest judge appointed by Ottawa to a Quebec court on Monday, as well as the first black man appointed to the Quebec Superior Court. Several actors in the legal world welcomed the appointment of a jurist who is often cited as one of the best of his generation.
