DOT working on solutions for deadly stretch of US 71
In early February, an Everly man driving south on the four-lane U.S. Highway 71 in a pickup found his way into the roadway’s northbound lanes there, his truck collided with a northbound SUV driven by a woman from Milford. The collision killed both drivers, according to the Iowa State Patrol.
