MONTEREY — Dorothy “Dottie” Gray Hiner Halterman, 86, of Monterey, passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 2026, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
She was born in Monterey, March 15, 1940, a daughter of the late William “Will” Wesley and Lillian Florence White Hiner.
On Feb. 6, 1960, she married Ezra Gay Halterman, who preceded her in death on Nov. 16, 2025.
