DONALDSONVILLE — The Donaldsonville City Council has unanimously approved rezoning land to make way for a new subdivision on the west bank of Ascension Parish.The council voted to rezone 52 acres of commercial property for the Cane Field Crossing neighborhood, which is planned for Thibaut Drive.The subdivision will include more than 170 homes.
