- Despite accounting for only 8.3 percent of international visitors, U.S. travelers generated US$1.70 billion in spending, exceeding Japan's US$1.38 billion.
- Regional data shows Southern Taiwan surpassed central areas as the second-most visited destination, reflecting growing interest in historical sites and outdoor activities.
