Doisneau, the Photographer of the Peripheries

Until 12 October, the Maillol Museum presents more than 350 photographs of Robert Doisneau (1912-1994), the discreet singer of an extinct suburb and of a Paris bistrotier, in the exhibition "Instants Donnés" ... We know by heart his rengaine, this accordion air that exsanguates a patibular bistro, between dog and wolf, in the black and white of the post-war, its filon of simple existences.
