Horrifying Dog Attack in Carnikava: Prosecutor's Office Reveals How the Investigation Is Progressing
The Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Latvia informs that in connection with the attack of two dogs on kindergarten students in Carnikava on September 4 of this year, the State Police immediately – on the day of the incident – initiated criminal proceedings, in which the investigation continues under the strict supervision of the Prosecutor's Office. Six children were injured in the incident, two of whom were hospitalized.
The Prosecutor's Office is actively monitoring the progress of the criminal proceedings regarding the dog attack on kindergarteners in Carnikava, and all necessary procedural actions are being taken in the pre-trial investigation, stated Dainis Krasts, prosecutor of the Pieriga Prosecutor's Office.
