The Liberec District Court on Thursday conditionally released well-known Czech disinformer Tomáš Čermák. He served 35 months of a five-and-a-half-year sentence for supporting and promoting terrorism. The court set a probationary period of four years and Čermák will be supervised by a probation officer. Čermák publicly called for violence against politicians during the Covid period.
Tomáš Čermák, who is serving 5.5 years in prison in Rýnovice for supporting and promoting terrorism, is requesting conditional release. The court in Liberec will hear his request on Thursday morning. Čermák received a final sentence for a video in which he spoke out against measures against the Covid-19 pandemic and against the amendment to the Pandemic Act. He has already served more than half of his sentence.
