The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that people recovering from recent severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and flooding may be eligible for food assistance through USDA’s Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP).
Disaster SNAP benefits approved for McCracken, other flood-stricken counties
Disaster Unemployment Assistance and Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance is now available to people in McCracken County and 12 other Kentucky counties included in a major disaster declaration stemming from the severe weather that began April 2.
