The French Rugby Federation was charged with manslaughter after the disappearance at sea in 2024 of Medhi Narjissi, in an internship with the French under-18 team in South Africa.
The prosecutor of the Republic of Agen announced on Friday that the French Rugby Federation had been charged following the disappearance of young Medhi Narjissi, international U18, in August 2024. The case, for its part, considers that "his criminal responsibility cannot be engaged".
Nearly two years after the disappearance of the young rugbyman Medhi Narjissi, taken by the ocean during an internship of the team of France U18 in South Africa, the French Rugby Federation was summoned to the court of Agen, in Lot-et-Garonne, on Friday 24 April. The president of the case, Florian Grill, was charged with manslaughter at the beginning of the evening.
