STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Hundreds gathered outside the College of Staten Island library on Wednesday to rally against plans to cut nearly $800 billion in federal funding for Medicaid, citing the devastating impacts the proposed cuts could have on the intellectually and developmentally disabled community.
