For several decades now, the MARIA nuclear reactor at the National Center for Nuclear Research has been producing isotopes, from which radiopharmaceuticals are then produced. Thanks to the state-of-the-art cyclotron, which will soon start operating, new, even more precise radiopharmaceuticals will be produced in Poland, used for precise diagnosis and treatment – says Prof. Renata Mikołajczak.
