The prefecture of Maine-et-Loire takes stock of these mobilizations of 10 September 2025: large security arrangements, nearly 3,000 demonstrators and three arrests.
Major demonstrations take place in several cities such as Paris, Lille and Rennes in the afternoon. Traffic at the Châtelet-les-Halles train station in Paris is disrupted, and the SNCF reported "prompt attempts to invade several stations." The Ministry of Interior recorded 430 actions, most of them calmly, and 295 arrests throughout France.
Many demonstrators met early this morning on September 10 to try to block the Paris ring road, but the police device deployed for the occasion made it possible to largely stop the operation.
