Călin Georgescu was raised Monday morning in traffic, in an operation-light of DIICOT, while investigators searched his properties and the homes of the other suspects in the file of an alleged fraud of 1.1 million euros. The case, in which Georgescu, Ion Negoescu and Ionel Rusen are complained, came to the attention of DIICOT as early as 2024, following the complaint made by businessman Răzvan Leu in Buzău.
