The central nervous system of a fruit fly is completely mapped on the Internet. Now programmers use the data to let the animals play Minecraft or to trade bitcoins. However, this has little to do with real fly behavior.
Earlier this month, Google and American researchers created a complete map of the brain connectivity of a male fruit fly, and the Internet has been using the model in some pretty absurd simulations. Someone has already managed to make a digital copy of the insect parallel park with a car, and they've also put it in front of Minecraft and Doom.
