Starting next week, fuel prices will rise, and diesel, unless the government adopts additional measures, could reach a new record price of 1.96 euros per liter, which is very close to the psychological limit of two euros, and given that due to military-political events in the Middle East, further increases in crude oil prices on world stock exchanges are expected, it seems that it is only a matter of weeks before that limit will be broken.
While the final price calculation awaits in Zagreb, the developments in the Mediterranean oil market in the last 24 hours show how difficult it is to predict with certainty the next blow to the budget
According to current calculations, it should not exceed 2 euros, said Željko Krezvelj, director of the Energy Directorate of the Ministry of Economy.
