The DFB will not pay the women's national team any extra bonus for the World Cup. At this year's tournament, the bonuses will be paid out directly by Fifa for the first time. However, the prize money at the Men's World Cup remains significantly higher.
For the time being, the German Football Association is not addressing the issue of equal pay any further and will not increase players' premiums at the upcoming World Cup — the payments will come directly from Fifa.
