DEVELOPING: Body of woman recovered after vehicle goes over cliff on Voëlklip Road

Emergency services are on the scene at Voëlklip Road in Herold’s Bay where a car has gone over the cliff.  According to the George Herald website, rescue divers have recovered a body and are in the process of deciding how best to bring it back up to the road. The infamous Voëlklip near Herold’s Bay is in the headlines yet again…this time for the death of a woman.   According to George police detectives, a 41-year-old woman veered off the so-called “cliff of death” this morning.
