Hochtief to Modernise 42km Section of Railway for €172m - Global Construction Review

Hochtief, a German subsidiary of ACS Group, has won a €172m contract from German state company Deutsche Bahn to modernise a 42km-long section of track running along the banks of the Rhine from Wiesbaden to Lorchhausen, close to Frankfurt in western Germany. The marauding infrastructure is considered to be the main reason for untimely trains, which is why the railway wants to fundamentally rehabilitate important lines. The completion of the work was recently postponed to 2035 - now there is a new timetable.
