DETROIT LAKES — Richard Lee Washington, 71, of Detroit Lakes has been charged in Becker County District Court with three felony counts of domestic assault and one count of felony fifth-degree drugs. He is accused of assaulting a woman on various occasions from Dec. 19 through Jan. 7, by doing things like hitting her with his cane, stomping on her foot, cutting her arm with a knife and striking her on the knee and also on the head with a hammer. …
