The Office of the Attorney-General of the Republic (FGR) carried out an arrest warrant against Sandra Lucía Téllez Nieves, founding partner of the ABC Day Care Centre, where 49 children died during a fire in 2009. Tellez is charged with the crimes of homicide and culpable injuries caused by the tragedy in Hermosillo, Sonora. She is currently at the Women's Social Reintegration Centre in that city to serve her sentence.
Sandra Lucía Téllez Nieves, one of the co-owners of ABC Kindergarten, has been arrested in Hermosillo, Sonora, after being deported from the United States, according to the Attorney General’s Office this Friday. Téllez had a sentence for homicide and culpable injuries due to the fire that occurred in June 2009 during the children’s stay, in which 49 children were killed and dozens more injured, in the same city where she is now detained.
