Desperate search for two men underway after fishing boat found empty 70 miles off Florida coast
The Coast Guard leads a multi-agency rescue with private volunteers searching 70 miles offshore after a Fort Myers attorney and his nephew vanished following a fishing trip.

- Coast Guard officials identified the vessel as 'Unstopp-A-Bull', Garcia said, with GPS coordinates near Marco Island and Flamingo guiding searchers and volunteer groups supplying waypoints.
- Tricia Spivey, wife of Randall Spivey and family contact, said a massive effort is underway, while authorities urged the public to call Lee County Sheriff's Office , 911, or SWFL Crime Stoppers ; private vessels and volunteer boaters support the search.
- Authorities warned that uncoordinated crews can create unsafe conditions and urged private boaters and aircraft pilots to monitor channels and report to Sector #StPete at 866-881-1392.
