ICE's 10-Day Operation Dubbed "Operation Dirtbag" Leads to over 230 Arrests While Targeting Sex Offenders

- Deputy ICE Director Madison Sheehan hailed Florida's cooperation as a model, while Homeland Security Deputy Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis contrasted it with resistance in Illinois.
- Since September, the crackdown has led to more than 4,000 arrests, reflecting sustained enforcement activity, and ICE has signed more than 300 agreements enabling local agencies to arrest up to 1,000 undocumented individuals a week.
