TPO - Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, Pham Thanh Ha, informed that the rate of interest rate increase is slowing down and interest rates are basically revolving around a new level. As of September 20th, the average deposit interest rate for new transactions was 6.38%/year, an increase of 1.15%/year compared to the end of 2025.
By the end of September, outstanding credit in the entire system reached VND 20.75 million billion, an increase of 11.59% compared to the end of 2025.
