The president of DePaul University in Chicago is being called to testify before a Congressional committee about instances of antisemitism on campus.

DePaul's Robert Manuel and the presidents of Haverford College and California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo are invited to a hearing May 7. The congressional committee chairperson's letter said DePaul may be violating federal civil rights laws if it isn't addressing antisemitism.

Manuel will be joined by California Polytechnic State University (San Luis Obispo) president Jefffrey Armstrong and Haverford College president Wendy Raymond.  This news comes in the light of a recent lawsuit filed by two DePaul students who were victims of what the Chicago Police Department called a hate crime.
