Department of Natural Resources stocks Clare Lake and 11 others with striped bass
INDIANA, JUL 7 – Indiana Department of Natural Resources stocked more than 168,000 striped and hybrid bass fingerlings to enhance fishing in 12 lakes, supporting angler opportunities statewide.
- The Indiana Department of Natural Resources completed its annual stocking of striped and hybrid striped bass across 12 lakes.
- More than 21,000 striped bass and 147,000 hybrid striped bass fingerlings were added, averaging 1.5 inches in length.
- Hardy Lake received an allocation of 1,000 striped bass and 7,000 hybrids among the total stockings.
- Indiana anglers can expect improved fishing opportunities for striped and hybrid striped bass in the future as a result of these stockings.
