On the morning of Saturday, June 28, dozens of Catholic faithful marched peacefully in what they called a “procession for peace,” as reported by the Diocese of Tapachula. Feligres announced that the march took place from the San Agustín Church in the Miguel Hidalgo Central Park to the Cathedral of San Marcos, with the purpose of demanding justice by Father Marcelo, who was murdered in San Cristóbal de las Casas.
