Deliveroo shares tick up after growth beats market expectations

Shares in food delivery firm Deliveroo rose by more than two per cent this morning after the company announced strong quarterly growth. Deliveroo has reported a 9% increase in its gross transaction value (GTV) year-on-year to £1.87bn in constant currency in Q1 2025. It also saw continued improvement in order growth, up 7% to £72.6m (up 6% in Q4 2024), with GTV per order up 2% to £25.8m.
