Ahead of a planned protest in Delhi on October 10 demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, several Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) leaders and supporters have been detained. These include party founder Abhijit Dipke, co-convenor Saurabh Das, Ashutosh Ranka, legal team head Ratna Singh, and YouTuber Dhruv Rathee.
The Haryana-Delhi border was sealed at midnight due to the CJP protest in Delhi. In addition to Gurugram, the Delhi Police has imposed heavy blockades at the Faridabad, Jhajjar, and Sonipat borders.
