The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maya Sandu, in June of the 34th year since the declaration of the Nistru War (2 March 1992), withdrew the nationality of the Republic of Moldova to nine persons who currently have functions in the structures of the Tiraspol separatist administration. The President states that two of the persons concerned have fought by the separatists in the Nistru War (2 March - 21 July 1992).

Nouă persoane au rămas fără cetățenia Republicii Moldova, după ce președinta Maia Sandu a semnat, pe 25 februarie, decretul de retragere a acesteia. Potrivit Președinției, măsura vizează persoane care au deținut sau dețin funcții în structuri neconstituționale din stânga Nistrului, iar în două cazuri este vorba despre persoane care au luptat de partea separatiștilor în conflictul armat din 1992.
