FARGO — A local nonprofit is sending thousands of personalized cards to mothers spending this Mother’s Day in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Dear NICU Mama, which supports women whose babies have spent time in the NICU, held a volunteer event on Tuesday, April 21, where supporters helped stuff 6,000 envelopes with heartfelt cards for mothers across the country.
