The Houthis have continued to advance in Yemen. The group has now reached the Bab al-Mandeb strait, two Yemeni government sources said. Since the Iranian blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, that strait has been important for transporting oil from Saudi Arabia.
Yemen's Houthi rebels seized the strategic Red Sea port of Muchah on Thursday, with witnesses telling AFP they saw fighters marching into the city chanting "death to America, death to Israel."
