Aspen High School senior Lenna Persson capped off her impressive prep career on Tuesday by finishing sixth in the Class 2A girls golf state championships, played at Pueblo Country Club. Day 1 of the 2A state golf tournament wrapped up after an active day of weather. The golfers had to navigate high winds and rain in the early afternoon of play. Salida senior Kyndra Johnson finished the day just one shot off the lead, while Manitou Springs sophomore Addison Dorsey is only two shots back. The state tournament will wrap up on Tuesday.
