David Rowe has hit the ground running to win Newcomer of the Year

He began helping his parents gather comps to protest their property taxes in the seventh grade. In June, at the age of 30, he designed, developed and sold the most expensive home ever sold on the public market in Central Austin's Bryker Woods — $4.2 million.
