Dassel, Minnesota, man sentenced to 30 years for murdering his wife

LITCHFIELD — The Dassel man who pleaded guilty last week to murdering his wife, Kayla Demarais, was ordered Tuesday to serve the maximum prison sentence. Bryan Demarais, 35, was sentenced to 367 months, roughly 30 years, on a conviction of second-degree murder.
