The Damascus governorate, in cooperation with Hand, has initiated the transfer of the memorial to Commander Salahuddin al-Iwibi from his current position in front of the Damascus castle, in preparation for his maintenance and restoration and the treatment of the damage caused to him, in parallel with a study of a suitable site for re-presentation in order to preserve its artistic and historical value.
